Playground inspections in Association with The Play Inspection Company
As a client of Came & Company, you will have access to a playground inspection service for children’s play areas and sports facilities of all kinds.
We offer this service courtesy of The Play Inspection Company, an independent body of playground safety consultants and inspectors striving to minimise potential risks across all aspects of play: indoor, outdoor and inflatable.
Playground inspections can be carried out on an annual or quarterly basis or as a one-off measure when a new playground is being planned or new equipment has been installed.
Annual playground inspections cover:
- Evaluation of the life expectancy of playground equipment
- Assessment of the condition of the site and all equipment
- Reporting on all findings, including photographs and recommendations for improvement
- Risk assessment in view of these findings
- Identification of British and European Standard compliance
- Basic DDA Statement
- Assessment of stock valuation
Under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and The Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1992, the playground operator is placed as legally responsible to ensure the health and safety of anyone who visits the playground. While this does not explicitly specify that such a playground inspection must be undertaken, such an inspection will nevertheless help protect yourself and your Local Council or Organisation against litigious claims and any resulting legal and/or financial burden.
Whether you are an existing client of Came & Company looking to discuss our playground inspection service or wish to switch from your exisiting insurance provider, please call us on 01483 462860 or email via firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be happy to help.
